Four men have been arrested during a pro-Palestinian protest outside a speech being given by former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at Queen's University in Belfast

Four men have been arrested for public order offences after a pro-Palestine protest in the University Road area of south Belfast on Thursday. It happened during a visit by the former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to Queen’s University, Belfast. The US Special Envoy to Northern Ireland Joe Kennedy III also attended the conference.

Police made several arrests outside Queen’s University Belfast as pro-Palestinian protestors disrupted an event where former US secretary of state Hillary Clinton was speaking. Up to 200 people joined the Thursday afternoon protest on the final day of the three-day Global Innovation Summit 2024.
