Voters across the country have spent the last two weeks voting early but some Massachusetts residents said they wanted to wait to cast a ballot on Election Day.

Election Day is Tuesday. More than 1 million voters in Massachusetts have already voted, either by mail or by choosing the early, in-person option, which closed Friday. But although nontraditional voting methods are becoming more popular, the majority of the state's 5,142,343 registered voters have not yet cast ballots.
