As cases pertaining to the deadly Marburg virus increase in Rwanda, neighboring regions of Eastern Africa have begun ramping up their surveillance along with strict health guidelines. Take a look.

Marburg vaccines are set to arrive in Rwanda in the coming days to help protect healthcare workers fighting an outbreak of the deadly haemorrhagic fever.

There are currently no licensed vaccines or drugs to prevent or treat Marburg, but experimental versions are heading to Rwanda.
