The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are firmly in the race for the College Football Playoff, but this is not stopping rumors from swirling about Marcus Freeman's future. Heading into Week 11, Notre Dame sits at 7-1 which landed the Irish at No. 10 in the initial College Football Playoff rankings .

While the game means little for Florida State, Notre Dame needs a win to keep marching toward a playoff spot in the 12-team field.
