On Thursday night, a woman in Pune was allegedly gang raped by three unknown men, while she was out with a male friend.

The Kondhwa Police have arrested one suspect, identified as Raje Khan Karim Pathan, a 36-year-old resident of Kondhwa. A search is underway for the other two accused.

In response to the incident, ten police teams have been established to locate the perpetrators. An official from the Kondhwa police station confirmed that the assault occurred in an isolated area, where the trio not only raped the woman but also assaulted her male friend.
