Donald Trump is returning Saturday to the Pennsylvania venue where he narrowly survived an assassination attempt in July, holding a high-profile rally in what his allies are billing as a key moment as the 2024 race for the White House enters its final month.

Donald Trump is setting aside what are now near-constant worries for his physical safety in order to fulfill what he says is “an obligation.”

The rally will be held at the Butler Farm Show—the same venue where, on July 13, Thomas Matthew Crooks fired eight rounds, injuring Trump's ear, wounding two attendees, and killing one person, Corey Comperatore, a former fire chief.
