According to a new leak, Samsung might be planning to introduce AI-based notification summaries with the One UI 7 update.

Samsung wants to take a page from Apple and add notification summaries to its next release of the One UI 7 build.

There have been a lot of rumors and speculation regarding One UI 7, including a possible release date this year for the beta. However, a recent post by known leaker Ice Universe has stated that we can expect the beta release by mid-November.

With One UI 7, it appears that the symbology will gain more depth and, in some cases, new colors. As an example, the current camera app icon features a cutout camera symbol on a red background, distinct from the flower icon which is on more of a pink background.

Notification summaries appear on one of the iPhone models that supports Apple Intelligence such as iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and all four iPhone 16 series models. The feature is part of the Apple Intelligence capabilities offered with iOS 18 .

On iPhone, the Notification Summary provides users with a short description of multiple notifications by the same source or the sender. This feature works in almost all apps, providing users with easy-to-access information. Now, Samsung may plan to bring the same or a more refined version of what Apple is offering.
