If you want a Kindle Paperwhite without ads, you’d typically have to pay $169.99 for the privilege. Thankfully, though, the Kindle Paperwhite Kids offers a way around that, making it a great e-reader for the whole family.

While the Kindle Paperwhite excels at delivering a premium reading experience, it offers even more than just books. With Kindle Unlimited, you can access over 2 million titles and thousands of audiobooks with a subscription. Additionally, pairing it with Bluetooth headphones or speakers allows you to listen to your favorite audiobooks hands-free.

So even though this Kindle Paperwhite sale is solid, and even though I'm a big fan of the Paperwhite and its Signature edition, for anyone considering this deal, ask yourself: will you be annoyed if Amazon launches a new model before the end of the year? If not, then go for it; if so, then I'd recommend waiting to see what Amazon has up its sleeve.
