Pine Hill police said five officers and one firefighter were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation due to the fire.

Officials say a cigarette fell onto a balcony with debris on it, at the Mansion Apartments, which sparked a massive blaze. The Camden County Fire Marshal ruled the fire accidental.

The local fire chief said one firefighter and as many as five police officers needed medical treatment after battling the blaze.
