Tens of thousands of workers marched in the Belgian capital against Audi’s plans to shutter plants in Belgium as carmaker Volkswagen launches a global assault on jobs.

Volkswagen's Audi is looking for an investor for its struggling Brussels plant, the premium brand's production director Gerd Walker said on Tuesday.

Around 3000 workers may soon be out of their jobs if Audi sticks with its current plans.
