The investigation into the murder of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddiqui has intensified, with the Mumbai Police confirming that the firearms used in the crime originated from Rajasthan.

The security cover of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been increased after Mumbai Police said it received a death threat against the CM if he doesn’t step down.   Mumbai Police Traffic Control Cell received a call from an unknown number that claimed Adityanath would meet a fate similar to that of the late NCP leader Baba Siddique if he did not resign in the next 10 days.

The Mumbai Traffic Police have reported receiving a death threat aimed at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The threat, communicated via a WhatsApp message from an unknown number, demands that Adityanath resign from his position within 10 days or face dire consequences.

Baba Siddique, 66, was shot by three individuals in Bandra East, Mumbai, on October 12 evening. He was rushed to the Lilavati Hospital where he died during treatment. The leader had received a death threat just 15 days ago and was under ‘Y’ category security.

Mumbai Police on 03 that the Mumbai Police Control Room had received a death against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath by unknown culprits.
