The first edition of the 2024 College Football Playoff rankings debuted on Tuesday night, giving fans an idea which teams are currently running toward a playoff appearance. There’s a good deal of projection involved still based on which teams have what remaining,

Tuesday night will feature the first College Football Rankings in the 12-team format era. It will give fans a taste of who the top favorites are to make the CFP at the end of the season even though there are still a few weeks left in the regular season.

ESPN's Heather Dinich is as in tuned in with the College Football Playoff committee as any analyst, but even she isn't 100% sure who the committee will have as the top 1-loss team.
