Japanese carmaker Nissan worked with Forsberg Racing to create the Tarmac, a highly modified and slammed Frontier pickup truck

Nissan is set to unveil its uniquely equipped Frontier TARMAC at this year’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Created in collaboration with Nissan Motorsports, Forsberg Racing and Nissan Design America, the TARMAC revamps the Nissan Frontier PRO-X into a low-slung powerhouse built for the track.

To pull off the TARMAC’s slammed look, Nissan Motorsports developed a bespoke version of its prototype NISMO high-performance street suspension. The package includes adjustable coilover suspension in front, a flip kit, and C-notch in the rear.

Nissan has unveiled the Frontier Tarmac, a drift-ready concept based on the 2025 Frontier, at the 2024 SEMA Show. This transformation, led by Nissan Motorsports and racing legend Chris Forsberg, reimagines the Frontier as a high-performance machine tailored for the track.

Nissan is bringing three new builds to SEMA 2024 including a supercharged Frontier and both lifted and lowered versions of the Kicks.
